The Lakester

The ’24 T pickup sits on A frame rails, has a corvair IFS and coil
sprung ’57 chevy rear.  350/350T combo.  I just pulled it off the road
for a redo though.  It’s going to sit on deuce rails and run a dropped
axle/hairpins with a 283 in a couple years.

This thing is completely built from cast-offs.  The body is
a combo of ’24 Dodge cowl, model A sedan doors(fixed) and ’31 Chrysler
seat-back out of a 4dr for the rounded portion.  Sits on model A rails,
is sprong by quarter elliptics in the front and semi-elliptics in the
rear.  Will run a 350/700R4 for power.  ’36 Ford I-beam axle and the
rear is a amc pacer.  It’ll be as bare bones as they come, but that’s
the way I like it.
