Time to attach the string to each front tire. The following pic shows where I taped the string to the back tread of the front L. tire at the height of 10”. This is the same height that I had when I attached the string to the top of the water jug . When we did Luggy’s car at the NATS this year, we attached the string to the jug handle, which measured only 7” from the ground so, we taped the string to his tire at the same 7” level. I usually tape to the tread (after I clean it) because I’ve not had good luck in getting the tape to stick to the sidewall. You’ve got to be able to stretch the string tight without it breaking loose from the tire.
