Amen on posting pix. I managed to stumble through the first time. Now it's much easier. Mike's advice is dead on.

One thing you may have to watch is the size (pixel count) of your pic. If to big, the site will not allow you to post. I have had to reduce the size of all mine, so far......lyle

Here ya' go Fred. I was wrong about the size of the oak boards! They actually measure 13".
I have added 1" angle braces in all four corners and on the top piece that the hinge is screwed to.
Using plywood for the top was a mistake, screws do not work well horizontally into plywood, should have used laminated pine available at Lowes/Home Depot :( :( :( Next revision it will be replaced, and that piano hinge will be replaced with a hurricane galley hinge.
Any questions don't be afraid to ask. Have you figured out how to post a pic yet??.....lyle

Oh, did you notice my hi tech lid prop :?: :?: A left over piece of oak from the top trim. Works great, low maintenance too :D :D :D :D

I sliced off some 1/16x3/4 pieces from the left over oak and glued them to the floor, then set the battery on top of them. Made the battery mounts from 1/8x1" angle and a piece of 1/8 plate.
