Lisa retired May 31....I retired long ago. So in essence we are operating on a relatively tight budget.

Roger.....well what in the heck is going on in Red Wing that weekend, BESIDES the T-Buckets??? I have been pricing other hotels in the area and I have run out of options, except for maybe sleeping in the trailer. The week rate works well, but the weekend rates at any of the hotels suck! C'mon, all they do is make/sell dishes!!! There is, if I recall, a really neat automobile museum there, or maybe I'm thinking of somewhere else. Hmmmm, I do recall a shop that sells and buys record albums. Well back to the drawing board.

Okay then, we're going to break the one and only piggy bank we have, and then open up one of our new walls in newly renovated lower level to scrounge up enough cash for the casino hotel.

If there was a Hampton Inn or Holiday Express we'd stay there as Lisa gets points there. So we WILL see the hosts in Red Wing on June 6th!! Looking forward to it folks, going to be a real HOOT!!

Sounds as if I was (unfortunately) right about hotel pricing. It almost seems as if all hospitality outlets are in cahoots with each other to ensure they separate us from as much of our money as possible.
It's the biggest reason I'm looking into building a teardrop to pull behind the T.

Roger, I DID at one time think about a tea drop trailer, but knew I would be sleeping alone in it as Lisa would want NOTHING to do with it. Hmmmm. But since getting my bucket painted, it goes into the sardine can and we motor onward to the next hotel.
