Some of us have thought about a place to put our heel under the go pedal but this man actually built a beautiful functional one

Very nice car with many interesting details. I am especially interested in the top. I have been thinking of putting a top on our bucket but at our age it would make getting in and out of the car more difficult. I had thought of trying to set up a soft top that could released from the windshield header and partially raised for clearance or possibly a fiberglass top that could be somehow hinged at the back to allow it to be raised although that is probably not workable. It looks like the top on this car is hinged at the front and raised at the back and has either struts or props at the back. I never thought of that and would like to try to find more information about this set-up - I have never seen anything like it. I know the folding top has been discussed on this board and used by at least one member. I would appreciate getting any info about either a folding top that can be raised at the front or the front-hinged hard top shown in these pics.

Sorry Lou , I can't help you much. I don't have a top and I didn't' get any pictures or details on how this top functioned.Maybe Tom will see this post and give you some pointers.
