It is a labor of love, but sometimes it is a chore!

Got my newly clear coated firewall back last night, and edged it with plastic door trim this morning. Need to lift the body, stabilize it, sand with 80 grit on my DA, do the same with the aluminum and epoxy it on. May do today, may do tomorrow or Saturday.

well not sure why this is under who is registered for the nationals, but Frank I would not epoxy it on. I would use silicone to hold it on. once the silicone is cured out it will hold as good as epoxy i think. I used silicone on mine about 23 or 24 years ago and it hasn't moved since.

Sorry folks, but will not be attending Townsend TN nats. Can't afford it. Need over a grand to finish the touring T. I'm retired on less $ and Gail wants to retire the end of the year, and I want her to. So, tough decision, but we can't afford to go. Wish I had the money like a lot of you folks, but we don't.

hi guys, i know personally(cause i did it) Haggerty will let you insure your car for the agree upon value, but if its not finished, they will write the policey and pro rate it on an amount that you think its worth at the moment non complete. when mine was being built, i had it insured in case it got stolen or something. anyone that needs insurance, give haggerty a call, tell them the situation and they will help.
