New Guy Question
What can one expect at one of these. Is it s drive? a Hang out and show? It's three days, is there a schedule for the three days? I have never been to one and am looking forward to attending this one.

Re: New Guy Question
First of all, welcome to the NTBA. The Burney "President's Fun Run" is what we consider a 'regional' event, meaning that it is usually smaller in scope than our Nationals. But in the three days you can expect lots of cruises to sightseeing attractions, meals, and - of course - ice cream! In the process you'll meet lots of friendly folks who are smitten by a passion for these little cars we call T-buckets. That means lots of "bench racing" discussions of how-I-did-such-and such-to-my-car or other stuff like how fast my car is, etc. Every time several of these cars gather in a parking lot, there is a "car show." It just happens, and the public seems to love it. Come on down and have some fun! Here's a few pics of a past fun-run in Waco.

Re: New Guy Question
Well the good thing is I don't have to come on down. I am already here
My wife and daughter are also in to cruising but of course the bucket only has room for two. My 15 year olds working n a true metal '26 right now but it will be a few years before it it is done. Would a model A Roadster be welcome? Just trying to find a way to include her. Hoping the event will really spark her interest more. Also, typically how long are the drives?

If you live right there then you need to look up the President of the NTBA he lives in Boerne himself........Bruce you have another member on here.....He can tell you all you need to know about his run......

That is a real nice car you have there and trust me there is always an empty seat she can ride in on all of the cruises......

Re: New Guy Question
The Presidents Run will be in Boerne, Tx on July 8-10, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Over those three days we will go one day to Kerrville, another day to Fredericksburg, and the last day around Boerne. We’ll see possibly two car collections, a restoration shop, a new build shop, lunches dinners and ice cream runs. All with a few surprises thrown in. I will have a schedule posted the week before, and a printed one when you get here. We have the NTBA nationals going on June 7-12, so right now my focus is on that. When I get back I will finish plans for the Boerne run.
I did not see your name posted or where you live. We’d enjoy having you and your family join us, hope to meet you in Boerne.
