Hi Everyone,
Well the TBucket season is starting to ramp up. This is just a quick reminder that the Cut-off date for the Ramkota motel in Rapid City is rapidly approaching. We have a limited amount of rooms left so if you want to "Come for the Fun" make your room reservations by April 29th. See you there!

Itinerary
Here is a reply I posted on FB, This is getting pretty close, I'd welcome any feedback or requests. Like I said, "Nothing is Cast in Stone" but it's getting close. One thing I just thought of: Are any of you interested in having actual GPS coordinates (not addresses) for some of the places we're going? Such as MT. Rushmore , Gates at Custer State Park, 1880's Train etc. If there is interest I might be able to make a list.
Nothing cast in stone for the actual days of the week but here is a rough draft: Wednesday looks like we'll do Mt Rushmore, down Iron Mt. Rd, across the top of Custer State Park, then on to Hill City to do the 1880's Train and eat at the Alpine Inn Across the street. Thursday we can do the South Dakota Air and Space Museum, then down Needles Highway as well as the Custer State Park Wildlife loop and return up the Iron Mt. Road (16A) . Friday we may be doing Deadwood and then on to Spearfish Canyon with stops afterwards in Sturgis if people want as well as the Full Throttle Saloon. Just depends on how full a day folks want. We would like to do Mt. Rushmore again Friday evening under the lights. The pass for parking is $10 ( $5 for us age impaired folks) and is supposed to be good for a year. Saturday can be a repeat for late arrivals with us doing Needles Highway, Iron Mountain Road as well as the Custer State Park Wildlife loop. We will try to do those 3 from different directions because it's like a new run from different directions. The Custer State Park pass is $20 per vehicle but is good for 7 days so we would encourage folks to take off on their own if they wish, it's well worth it. Hope this helps.

Now this is what I like seeing!!!! Now up to 21 registered folks coming to Rapido City! Last I checked, there was only 14. As it stands, we are still going to attend, but fuel prices may come into play. Sucks when one is on a fixed income. Hopefully we'll see y'all there.

I’m on a fixed income. Less than 50k a year. I’ll just have to stay home more to save up the fuel money. See y’all in June. I have never seen South Dakota. May be my 1 and only time

Well when you get rid of the boys and all your bad habits, you'll be able to do anything you want-- until you run out of money.

Re: Thoughts and ideas.......
I signed up on, and got my hotel reservations on the last possible day, so we're good to go. I'm coming from the south side of Denver with my daughter, and we will be taking a longer route on the way there in the T-Bucket (with its little trailer) through Sydney NE, and Custer, Deadwood, etc, so we can make a 500-mile run. The runs sound great, and we look forward to meeting everyone.
(I need to get my America the Beautiful pass just before I leave, since I will reach the magic age at the beginning of June.)
No need to worry about my daughter, she's done a couple 500-mile tours with me on two different Harley's I've owned (1 rolling couch, 1 - not so much). Hopefully someone might be around the Ramkota when we arrive that can sign us off for the arrival time.
