Re: 2023 NTBA schedule
Hi Randy,
Sorry we're slow getting back to you.
As it stands right now it looks like the majority of our pre-registered folks will be arriving on Sunday. Bruce as well as Dianne and I will probably be arriving about lunch time on Sunday. I would say your best bet for Sunday would be to just plan on going to lunch or dinner with anyone else who wants to go. I would suggest that maybe casino "hopping" to see what gimmics they have might be fun on Sunday. Most of them are between 1/2 to 1 mile from the IP where we're staying. A cruise down the coast road to either Bay St. Louis to the west or Ocean Springs to the east would get you oriented about the area. Both are "artsy-fartsy" with a lot of shops and little places to eat and drink.
Probably will have self guided runs for Monday. Then, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be the dedicated long run days. We pretty much have them figured out, not sure which order they will be in. We will also have a list of places for dinner. It seems that "pick your partners" has worked out pretty well for dinner. The real large groups have not been working out that well, especially since places are understaffed since Covid.
Looking forward to seeing you and Sue as well as everybody else. It will be here before you know it. We'll post more as we finalize things. One thing we do plan to do is posting individual run maps so folks can download them to their phones as well as some addresses so they can put it in their GPS.
