The past 12 years or so, I’m sure all of you who have been to our run remember the dry lake bottom in the national wildlife refuge, Buffalo Lake. Well…. We received around 12 inches of rain 2 and 3 weeks before the NATS. The pictures show the water build up in the lake. It hasn’t had this much water since 1981!!! The other picture is the west 40. In the 14 years we have lived here, we have never seen it this green….
