Just wanted to put out some info about Highway 65 road signs and maybe a caveat about a road number.
First thing and this may apply more to folks that have been to Branson, but it's been a few years. A few years back (not too many) someone at MoDot got the bright idea to change the roads with the 76 highway designation. The "Strip" in Branson is still designated at 76 Country Music Blvd. However,what the majority of our folks are going to notice coming in from the North is that a few miles out from Branson they are going to see exits for 76 Highway "Ozark Mountain Highroad". This is correct "now" but it hadn't been that way for years, so don't take that exit. So if you've been to Branson in the past or have older maps, it may throw you a curve. Here are a couple of pictures of what you'll see and the exits you want to take when you get to town. The Branson Landing Blvd - 248 exit is the one most people will take. It is the most direct way to the Host Hotel. The exit north of that is for Branson Hills Pkwy - Bee Creek and the folks that are staying in the RV park can take that one. As far as the RV park goes, you can't really make a bad choice, the first exit at Branson Hills Pkwy is closer but more winding and a big hill. The second exit is a little farther but basically flat.
