It's getting closer.......

Hi Everybody, just thought I would post a little update. This week we did an officers pre-run in Branson and determined a couple of things that would not work and a couple of things we will add. It was a productive visit. As far as the things that won't work (Kinda') are some long runs we had planned. The runs are good and we encourage folks to do them, it's just the time factor doesn't work with a big group. We will print up some maps for a Eureka Springs loop, a Cassville loop and a Peels Ferry loop. These routes are 110 mile plus loops and just will not work time wise with a big group. We all know how that works, stop to use the restroom, stop to get gas , stop to stretch our legs........you all know the drill. It just takes too long. But.......grab a buddy and take off!!!!
Now as far as the things we may add. I previously posted about a group dinner on Wednesday night at Flat Creek restaurant in Cape Fair Missouri. That's now on the books and they didn't blink at 100 folks so put that on your personal itinerary. We are now in the process of finalizing a group dinner at the Jackie B. Goode's Uptown Cafe on Thursday night and Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House on Friday. A large group at both doesn't appear to be a problem.
We plan on getting everyone back to the Host Hotel early enough to clean up (read that as "take a nap") and not be in a hurry to go out to eat or have some evening activities or both. On that note I am going to add a couple of pictures of the "All Access Branson" flyer that will be at the front desk of the Branson Towers. This is a very handy way to get tickets and now if you have a last minute request (I mean like really last minute!!!) they can text you your tickets in the parking lot of the show. I had posted earlier that the discount was minimal, but after looking it over, some are really worthwhile. Keep in mind that the prices listed were for the 3rd week of April. If you have any questions give them a call. They are very nice to talk too.
So a little long winded today but there will be more to come. Looking forward to seeing everyone and the turnout is looking good.

Do you all have plans for a show and shine?

Not at the present time, we've kind of got out of the habit. Saturday after the National Meeting will be a laid back afternoon with a lot of members just "hanging out", that's about as close as we'll get.
