OK, so most of us gearheads are into sensual aspects of our hobby - the sights and sounds. Witness the number of video clips of "first engine startup" etc. So . . . what's your favorite engine sound(s)? I'll start with three of my favorites:
1) Ford flathead with glasspacks https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=fo ... ORM=VDRVRV
2) Chevy stovebolt six with split manifold & loud mufflers https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=ch ... ORM=VDRVRV
3) Buick nailhead V-8 with open headers https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Bu ... &FORM=VIRE
(PS - You can participate by just naming the sound - no audio link required!)

Best sound that I ever heard in a T-bucket was at the NSRA Columbus gathering. It was an original 426 Hemi, with a blower and Zoomies!

Honestly, I’ve not heard one I don’t like, and each is unique as are the cars. I got a kick out of the one in Indy with the Koehler Engine in it
. Another was the massive Surging blower motor Butch Reeves had in his twin Blown, T.

Re: Favorite engine sounds
Of course my T-bucket is SB Chevy-powered, so I love the sound of a Bowtie wound up tight . . .
