Why bother?

I go to the trouble of posting a fair amount of text with a video to explain it, and the entire post is removed. Not a good start. Why should people take the time and effort to participate in a forum if posts are to be removed at a whim? I think history shouldn't be disturbed, as the search bots do their thing, everything posted to the Internet becomes archived and thus searchable. I'm glad to see Cecil's little burn-out survived, but this type of censorship kills the forum experience and alters history. At this point I don't feel like wasting my time putting an effort into posting if that effort isn't respected.

More than happy to work with you Rolla, as I consider you a stand up guy. If memory serves, I never posted any videos to the old NTBA's board, let alone the one pulled from here. I will admit to posting that same video to the HAMB, with the results that you referenced. I hope we aren't taking our cues from that site. I also posted it to Hot Rodders, with both positive and negative results, but they kept it, the thread ran its course, and just created a small flurry of activity, which I thought wouldn't be a bad thing for a new forum.

Thank you Bob, and i feel the same about you sir. Not sure then how it got there but I was asked to remove it .. While I enjoy speed, horsepower, and sometimes going fast, the feeling was that our stie was not the place for it. Please continue to post both pics and videos, but please understand that if one is deemed inappropriate it would be removed as will any others regardless of the source. I appreciate your feedback and am always available to talk. Have a good evening.
