I sure wish that photos would come out in my posts in the order that they are listed !!!
I post LOTS of photos and they seem to come out in any order that they want. I go to
alot to trouble sometimes to post correctly worded text that pertains to a specific photo
and then the wrong photo appears next and make NO sense. This has happened more
than just once, it's not a one time fluke, but happens everytime.
Maybe there is a software update that could be installed to correct this problem.
Please !!! Please !!! Please !!!

Rick, there is an option down in the attachments section that allows you to place your photos "in line." That should make them appear wherever you place them according to the position of the cursor.

Yes I'm aware of that option, sorry I should have said something in my post above. That's
exactly what I did and have always done. You can tell when they are not posted inline, but
left to chance by the way they are labeled.....I think it will say "Attachment".

Re: I Sure Wish That ......
Rick, I just checked the attachment settings in the Admin panel. Attachments are "ordered by time," and the only choices I have are Ascending or Descending. It is currently set for Descending. I guess that means they are displayed last to first by time. Want me to change it to Ascending and see what happens?

Re: I Sure Wish That ......
We can try it, but it just does not make any sense. What good is the "Place Inline" button then?
I've used the same phpBB software on another forum and it worked fine there. Is there an update to the software?

Rick here is what I have found with this website....The time line that Lee is in reference to I think is the time line on the photo....
Try this if you want them in line. Rename you photos 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 then when you click the "place inline" I think it will go by that number on the photo..........Let me know if that works, if not then we can try something else.....

Mike, thanks for helping with this problem!
In my post about "Dynamic, Static Comp Ratio & Cranking Pressure Calculator", I
did have all my picture files numbered like you suggested with a trailing number
to designate the order.

This is the order I placed them inline.

This is the order they were displayed.
