Read Messages show as Unread

Here is an email I recently received that I thought I would share as it may help others having the same issue:

Jan, for the last few days I read all unread messages, but the messages still show as unread. Is it my computer or on your end. Help!

My reply was:
I am thinking it is a problem with you blocking cookies from this site. Assuming you are using Internet Explorer, I will walk you through allowing cookies from the NTBA site.

Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy - click on Sites, in the spot marked Address of website enter http://www.nationaltbucketalliance.com and click Allow, click Ok, and Ok to save the setting.

Hopefully that will fix the problem for you. If needed I will also post the instructions for anyone using firefox... Jan

The toughest problem we have is that Microsoft and Firefox routinely make random upgrades almost weekly and by the time we investigate the problems cause by the upgrade (which they don't generally ask permission to install) it is fixed with the next update... it's a never ending battle..... We have not made any changes to the settings on the site, I assume this problem will go away all by itself in the next week or so. We have tried to duplicate it on our end and can't.... Ted
