Hi Steven and welcome from the Left Coast. This year's Nats are being held in my neighborhood (within 100 miles) at Carson City, hope you can make it. As good 'ol Al Husa commented, we come in all forms and professions, as the goofy little T-bucket with its insane power to weight ratio attracts all. Good luck on your build, have you decided on the engine/trans combo? I'm into stick shifts and a clutch.
Looks like I am going to go with a 350 Chevy and a Automatic Trans and a S-10 Rear rear end.. I thought about doing a stick but its nothing but hills out here and yes I am lazy and don't wanna press in a pedel..lol..

Milt,

Had I gotten into T-buckets at 24 there would have been a lot less hot rods in my past. The power to weight ratio of our rides is just plain addicting. Of course there is always the chance that if I started with 526 hp in a 1790 lb ride I may not be here today, so Steven enjoy and be careful during the learning curve.

Thanks for the Warm Welcome Everyone.. I just want to say I am not one of those guys or kid who wants to throw in a big motor and haul butt.. All I wanna do is make something for me and my wife to go cruiseing in and enjoy it.. My little girl likes to work out in the grage with me so this will be a awesome learning experience for her.. and me as well. I have dreamed about building this bucket for quiet a long time. And finally got the ok to go for it.. I look forwared to meeting everyone and becoming part of the bucket family.. Cant wait to sit back and enjoy.. Pictures coming sunday when Ron Deleviers parts..

Sounds good Steve. Be sure to post pictures of your future hot rodder helping you in the garage.
