After you have uploaded your photo(s) to the hosting site (they have their own tutorials, so I won't go into that here), go to the photo you want to post from your album/library and click on it. The "image links" window will then be populated with the links to that photo. Here's what it looks like in Photobucket (without the arrows, which I'll talk about next)...
There are two ways to use the links to get the photo into your post. The simplest method to put the image in your post is to left-click the IMG code grey box (blue arrow in the "Image Links" graphic). This automatically adds the "IMG" tags to the link and copies it to your computer. All you have to do to get it in your post is place the cursor (the blinking vertical line that shows where text will be inserted) at the spot in the post window where you want to add the photo to your post and press "Ctrl + v" to paste the link with the "IMG" tags. DO NOT click the "Img" button (orange circle below) if you use this method. The tags were already added by the photo hosting site.
Some image sources will not have the "blue" option, so you will have to do the "orange" option. The orange arrow is pointing at the "Direct link." Left click on the the link itself in the grey box to copy the link to your computer. To put the image into your post, place the cursor at the point you want the photo to appear and click on the "Img" button at the top of the post window (orange circle)...
In the orange rectangle at the lower left you see the "Img" tags that will be added when you click the "Img" button. If you have not done anything else since clicking the "Img" button, the cursor will be between the "Img" tags, and all you need to do is press "Ctrl + v" on your keyboard and the link you copied from the hosting site will be placed between the "Img" tags. If the cursor isn't between the tags, just place the cursor symbol of your mouse between the "img" tags and left-click, then "ctrl + v to paste the link.
