On most boards that I frequent, when you press "Unread Messages" it takes you to the first unread message in that topic.
On this board, you are taken to the top of the tread. Is this a setting on my end? or at the BBS?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Unread Messages Question
Your end, under user control panel, board preferences, edit display options... pick ... display post order direction ...descending (for both options) ... Should do it...Ted

Re: Unread Messages Question
Ted,
That did not solve my problem. I probably did not explain myself well enough. So let me give you an example of what I want to:
Let's say that a topic has three pages. In a prior visit, I have read the entire thread up to the last post on page three. The last post was the second post on page three. On my next visit, I want my setting to take me to post three on page three, without going through the first two pages and the first two posts on page three. How can I do that?
Thanks,

Look to the right of the persons name on the Board Index page and you will find a little square in light blue, If you put your mouse over that you will see 'see last post' in that thread. I think this is what you are looking for.

Re: Unread Messages Question
Mike,
Thanks for the info. If there is just one or two new posts your method works fine. However, for ten new posts, it is a clumsy method.
I am sure Ted will resolve this, when there are not so many fires burning.
BTW- Thanks Ted and Jan for doing a great job on the new board!!!!!!!!!!!!
