Walt sez: "Heads are back from the shop. 4 angle grind on the intakes and 3 angle grind on the exhaust valves. New valves, springs and guides. Multilayer head gaskets. Just placed the heads and intake on to see how it looks. Next step, torque the nuts on the studs, measure the push rods and replace if necessary, install the push rods and roller rockers, adjust the valves, bolt on the intake and circulate the oil pump."

Walt sez: "Engine is almost ready to take it to the dyno shop. Just as an FYI. My old 400 (406cid) block is worn out. I've replaced it with a custom built Shafiroff short block."
