Hi All from the now dry and sunny Midwest. Want to remind everyone if they have not reserved their room for Winterset - Midwest Fun Run July 18 thru 21 you still have until June 17th. The rooms that are not reserved will become open to the Public. The Cobblestone will honor the rate after that date but not guarantee of a room. Here is the schedule of events.
Wednesday afternoon 5:00 meet and greet at hotel with a light meal. There is a truck and tractor pull at the fairgrounds for anyone that would like to attend. Ladies we may have something at the hotel or one of the businesses.
Thursday - Leave hotel at 9:00 drive to one of the Bridges of Madison County for a Photo shoot if you want your picture take by the bridge bring your camera. Lunch at the Hitching Post and then back to Winterset to tour the Pioneer Village, John Wayne Museum and freedom rock.
Dinner at the Hotel. Will be something light since we had a good lunch.
Friday - Leave hotel hotel at 8:00 drive to Ankeny, Iowa for tour of Albaugh Collection. Lunch at Smokey's BBQ and scenic drive back.
Dinner at Hotel . Something light again since we will have a large lunch and of course in the evenings we will need to go for Ice Cream.
Saturday - Show and shine downtown Winterset 11 to 3. There are a lot of small shops and of course the Quilt Museum for you to tour. You are on your own for lunch.
Saturday Night farewell dinner at the hotel.

WOW! Well this certainly looks to be a GREAT event and one to which both Lisa and I are looking forward to. Now hoping the weather holds out because between you and me and the many fence posts we'll be passing, we have HAD our fill of rain!!!!!
