I just heard that Al Carpenter's wife Shirley passed away on April 30th. With permission from her grandson Danny, I'm posting it here and on our group in Facebook. I wish I knew more, but I don't at this time.

Just reading this now. How very sad. Shirley was a wonderful friend and special lady. How sad it is that I cannot recall the last time I saw Shirley and Al. Well, although the better place to be is here on earth with Al and family, she is now in heaven, free from pain and distress. Prayers and thoughts out to Al and family. May Shirley rest in peace.
