My first car was a 1946 Chev Business Coupe Blue just like the one in the brochure......

Second car was a 1940 Ford Pickup and damn I sure wish I had it today..................

Mine was a 1950 Oldsmobile coupe, with a crushed right rear quarter. I customized it - '53 Buick head & tail lights, frenched - lowered it (Bernzomatic heat to the springs! Lookout for RR tracks!!!) and hammered/bondo'd the bent sheet metal. There were three guys with them ('50 Olds coupes) from my highschool, and we thought we were cooool!

Mine was a 64 Ford Galaxie that belonged to my Grandpa. It was a 4-door but had a 390 in it and duel exhaust shortly after I got it .. That ticked my dad off Only went through 3 transmissions in the first year and thus my love for cars! I had to work at the shop that repaired my car after dad paid for the first one

This is a wonderful look back. My high School friend was from a rich family and they bought him a 1958 Chevy with a 348 and a cast iron Power Glide. I remained his buddy until the local junk yard ran out of them. Then his dad bought him a shop built PG and he didn't need a free mechanic that much anymore.
