So about 6 this morning I glassed some places I ground through, plus anything else that seemed week. 2 hours later it's almost set up, but not quite.
I have a plan now. A few depressions need to be filled with short strand filler. Once that sets up, I will mix some more resin and lay fiberglass cloth out as smooth as I can. I may stop there, or once that sets up, skim with body fill. One step at a time.

Trans tunnel closer
If no one is interested in my progress here, just let me know and I'll stop posting pics.
After a bit of sanding yesterday, I filled low areas with short strand filler and smoothed it out. A bit of sanding, and I'll be ready for more resin and cloth to get ready to finish this baby off. Can't do that until it warms up Wednesday or Thursday. That's okay, we're leaving this morning, and I won't be back till Tuesday anyways. Once the cloth is done, then it's some regular fill to smooth the cloth out, then should be done.

Like Mike said, we like to see your progress. Keep in mind, as a build thread, others in the future will benefit from your build, so keep it up!

New rear wheels and tires
Well by golly, will keep you all posted as I move ahead.
Been gone visiting old friends for a few days. On the way home I picked up my new Weld Draglites with the new Coker BF Goodrich tires. These wheels are 8 inches wide, where my old ones were 15 inches wide and had 18.5 inch wide tires on them. These tires will put the back of the hot rod up within a 1/2 inch of where the old ones did (31 inches). So kinda pricey coming form Mr. Coker, but a done deal. Have to see if I have lug nuts for the wheels sometime today, but have lots of errands around the house before I can check. May finish the trans tunnel today, maybe tomorrow. At least now I'll have matching wheels front and back, just the front ones are 3.5" wide.

Trans tunnel
Almost done with this fool thing. A bit more fill, then fiberglass resin and cloth.
God knows I sure wish I had bought a different body than this piece of (fill in the blank) from Jim Wilkos. What a shyster that guy was. Problem at the time I bought it was I was having severe problems with trigeminal neuralgia, and was not at my sharpest. And he was relatively close. He actually cheated other folks I know out of their cash they sent him, and never filled their orders. I was a bit more tenacious, and while it took a while, finally I just had to drive over and confront him for the top I had paid for. I got it. Enough venting.
I ordered the last of the paint this morning my pro painter needs. (No use getting it till I had the cash to pay him.) Seeing it comes from FL, I wanted to make darn sure I had more than enough. Specialist Paints USA. Good folks, and competitors with House of Kolor. Also just ordered new lug nuts for my back meats. Thought I had some around, but they were all the wrong size. Sheesh!

Re: Frank's t tub
Frank I am sure sorry for telling you about the body I got from Wilkos and my positive experience.
Either my body was in much better shape than yours was or I just am not quite as concerned about the finish on mine, cause I sure did not have to do all the work that you have done.
You have it looking great I might add and when you get er done it will look much better than mine but I am more than happy with my Tub body....My own body also......LOL..
Carry on buddy.......
