Thanks from the Lobsta Run

I just wanted to thank everyone that came to our Lobsta Run last week. We had a great time and we hope you did too. Traveling all the way up to New England is a commitment and we realize and appreciate it. We had mostly good weather and a few pop-up storms. We'll be telling stories of one particular storm for years. It popped up unexpectedly while we were at dinner, 2 miles from the hotel. The restaurant gave us garbage bags to make ponchos so we could drive back to the hotel in a driving rain. We cruised the beach and mountains. Got a tour of a maple sugar shack and drove on the speedway (Some got over 100MPH again!). We finished with a lobsterbake with fresh lobsters right off the boat. You could still smell the saltwater on them! Alot of planning by 4 of us New Englanders came to fruition. I'd like to give a special thanks to the Cowtown T's who flew in and brought a rental car. They were coming no matter what and I'm glad they did! Frank and Gail Alguire also came in a street car and I got to give him a ride in my bucket for a full day. I'm proud to be a member of this family and thankful for the friendships I've made over the past few years. I already put in for vacation time for Nationals next year in TN and plan to drive my T-bucket there. I look forward to meeting even more of you!

Laurie and I had a great time at the Lobsta Run. All of the runs were a blast! Even the wet ones!
Finally, the lobster bake a Jeremy's was off the chart! Live Music and fabulous food!

Deb and I hated to miss this event, but it wasn’t to be this year. PLEASE do another one in the next two years . I know it was a blast just from the hospitality that we were shown last year!!
