Final cruise for Fat Pat

Post by Bill Cleveland »

Todd Mullins posts on fb: "Hey y'all keep FatPat's family in your thoughts. He passed a little after 4pm today.
Back in... gosh was it 1998? when I first logged on the SpiritcarsBBS and met what has become this big family, it was just a handful of people. P.A., Cartoon Bandit, Jerry(Lugnut), and FatPat were some of my first T Bucket buddies.
Over the years I got to catch up with him in KC, Mountain Home, and a few other places.
Always full of life, always laughing and enjoying himself, and always liking to push some buttons just because.
I, for one, will miss him.
RIP Pat Anderson."

Todd Mullins on fb:

Sir Patrick of Considerable Girth, Uncle Butchie, FatPat... I'll miss him. Been about 25 years I guess I knew him and we never agreed on who has the best BBQ. He came to Memphis once and we ate at Rendezvous. After he ate Ribs, we sat talking for so long we got hungry again, so I took him to get what is called The Best Burger in Memphis. We ate burgers and sat talking so long we got hungry again and went somewhere to get pie. I think I'll have some BBQ, a Burger, and some Pie tonight. Love ya FP.

Tim Taylor on fb:

Going to miss our chats. FP was a character. My favorite memory of FP was at Ashlock's BBQ. He brought me a gallon of sweet tea (since I was from TX). We sat on a small grassy hill watching a golf cart speed down a hill and sliding sideways into the garage - over and over till the batteries quit. Texting with him last June... his last 3 words to me were "HO LEE SHT" or is that two words... I'm sure we'll argue about that later. 🙂

Posted today on fb:

"This is Patty Anderson I wanted to let you know that (tomorrow, Saturday) from 2:30-3:00 (or however long it takes) we will have people talk about how they knew Pat or funny stories you have to tell. Visitation is from 1-3 at Meyers funeral home. Graveside services in Chillicothe will be at a later date."
