Cool idea for foot step

I have been wanting to come up with an idea for step plate without having to weld (I cant weld).
So a little tinkering and some help from amazon I came up with this…

Folds up and out of the way when not in use……..thoughts ?

Is there a way to "lock" it in place when using in step mode? It's asking a lot of the nut/bolt to keep it level with 150+ lbs standing on it.

Im 205 and it holds up well. It actually a Harley passenger foot peg.
It holds in the up position basically by the tightness of the bolt.

So far so good .
