Windshield

Hi,
In Canada, we are required to have a DoT (Department of Transport) designation for windshields. Therefore Lexan is not an option.
How difficult is it to have a windshield made to fit a specified frame (Speedway)?

Very easy any auto glass shop can do a flat glass windshield with DOT Safety glass, I had 3 done one year 2 of which when were on the road and had to stop and spend the night while they cut it. ( dang rocks )

I had mine done in an auto glass shop... not difficult or expensive to cut flat safety glass. Mine cost about $90 and they even burned in the safety glass bug.

I had mine made by a local self employed guy. I do not think it has any DOT, TX, etching on it. The master tech inspection, which is good for as long as I own it, finished the build also, so maybe he did not look.
