What is the best way to make a header extension hanger under a step

It sure would help if you could post a few pics of your setup, everyone is going to be different.

Thank You Indycars I think I have figured it out. I do like your hanger.

There are a hundred possibilities for your situation, why not not post some pics and get alot more input. You never know.

Everyone here wants to learn from every Tbucket.

What do you say guys .... can you learn a new trick ???

I did something just a little different. The exhaust system on HiTec T is pretty heavy with the cutouts and air cylinders and such and it had to have a strong but flexible hanger. The headers and system have been in service since somewhere around 1997 or 1998 I think. I have never posted a pic, but will try to take a pic or two and learn how to post and then post; so bare with me on the timing. In the meantime, if someone wants to post for me I can email them quicker.

Here ya go . . .
.
Kevin writes: "This system I designed about 20 or so years ago has served well as no damage has happened to the headers or side pipes even with the extra weight of the cutouts. Just guessing the muffler and cutouts weigh around 20 – 25 lbs per side. I knew the header could never support that kind of weight."
