AQ-1 Data Acquistion System

Post by Indycars »

bigdadhack wrote: Thu Oct 04, 2018 9:01 pm So... all that being said, I also have the HP addiction. Tell me about that data logger. If needed I’ll start a new thread. I’ve looked into loggers from $150 to $550. Really all I need is a wideband O2 sensor, but data is always nice to have.
Have a great weekend,

I'm using the AEM AQ-1 system. It's going to cost about $400-$450 plus any sensor you
want. I bought their gauges also, since they come with sensors, it saved me some money.

But I also went to the local Pull A Part and robbed some TPS and MAP sensor, then
adapted them to my carburetor.

Indy,
That’s a great idea on the MAP and TPS!!!
So with the dual carb on the tunnel ram, I figure the best place for MAP might be in the plenum below the carbs? (If all is good plenum pressure should be the same below each carb right?) Hmmm, I have a spacer below my front carb that could be a good spot to get it. I’ll pick your brain on this a bit as I get closer to pulling it off. Will be next spring. After Christmas for certain.
Thanks for the info. That’s a pretty trick set up you have!!

Sure anywhere in the manifold should be good. Theoretically anywhere below the base
plate on a carb should work.
