Header I.D

Post by spainer »

Hey folks,

Been a while since I’ve been online. I hope everyone had a great Christmas.
I have a question about Headers. I came by a pair of chrome headers, and I am just not
Sure how to determine what block they fit.I seem to recall a website several years
Back , where you could measure the port distance and determine the header application.
Does anyone else recall this ?

Help is greatly appreciated....

Happy holidays my friends

I don't remember any info like that, but one place to start might be exhaust gaskets - checking out several at the local parts store may put you onto the right ones. Make a paper template by tracing around the header flange(s), pressing down on the exhaust openings to get a 'dimple' impression of their shape.
