Bondo and fiberglass work

Post by frank_a »

Did some work on stuff for the hot rod today. Bondo for the air cleaner body (mostly underneath), and I think the last of the glass work on my home-made fan shroud. Obviously needs finishing, but now it should be sized to the aluminum radiator I have. It's already sized to the fan. Added a couple more layers of mat on top, and 4 layers on each of 4 spots where it will mount to the radiator. Everything set, so we're good till I start sanding the beast. May still do cloth over the mat, not sure. Will be painting it same color as body. Install pics later.

Funny thing - here I thought I need to order some stainless steel braided brake hose for the front. Found two new ones today in my shop!
