Identify and modify S10 rear?

Identify and modify S10 rear?
I think I have an S10 rear end in my T. Can anyone identify it for sure? And, whatever it is, I'd like to get a ratio closer to 3.00. It's currently 3.73. How hard is it to change the gears, and does anyone want to swap?
