Sealing gas fittings

What does everyone use to seal the threads on the brass fittings that connect to the fuel pump? I think I used thread tape last time but I do not remember.

What is wrong with the flair on the end of the tube.....? I don't like to use Teflon tape because it don't resist gasoline and will not hold up, IMHO...........The fuel pump should take a flair on the tube I think...

But........ I have used "rector seal" a time or two with good results......Plumbing store........

They are brass but are npt. Permatex makes a aviation form-a gasket sealant liquid that works with gas. Will use it and let you know how it works. It is an mechanical fuel pump.
