Load Leveler Hitch

So I have purchased a 20' trailer to haul the bucket. I was planning on using a Class III hitch, but I got a buddy who says I should use a load leveler. Given the T weights 2,000 lbs and the trailer weights 2,500 lbs. I will be pulling it behind a 2016 Toyota with a 5.7 L V-8. Do I really need a load leveler.

Mark, I would have to see how that Toyota sits after it is loaded to make an informed call........

...Now if you have a problem going down a hill it will be a little bit to late to get a leveling hitch at that time........Just to be better, than safe I would buy a hitch.......

Remember your car & trailer together weights about the same as your truck...........JMHO........

Try to set it up to where you have about 200lbs of tongue weight Mark. Loaded, there should only be about an inch or so difference in the front versus the back of the trailer from the ground up. Do you have a good brake controller?? That's just as important.

Mark, I would suggest you at least install an anti-sway bar. Made a world of difference for me.

Mark, i agree with Lee 1000% on installing a sway bar. It makes a remarkable difference. Well worth the money
