Need Electric Fuel Pump Recommendation

Looks like my second Mr. Gasket 12s fuel pump just died. I am done with Mr. Gasket.

I am running a SBC with an Edelbrock 600 cfm carb.

Can you recommend an inline electric fuel pump that is reliable?

Mark, I burned up two Holley Blues before switching to this pump. A little spendy, but I believe in this case you get what you pay for. Not a lick of trouble in 10 years. You are running your pump from a dedicated 30 amp relay, right?

1-Thanks for the input. You are right that is a little spendy at $221.

2-During the Race City USA Fun Run, I found out that the Radiator Fan and the Fuel Pump were on the same 40 amp relay, when the relay blew, as we were starting a run.

I had made arrangements for a friend to come over, this week, to help me install a second relay. I will move forward with that regardless of what fuel pump I end up with.

I did not realize that it is a best practice to put a relay on a fuel pump. I thought a fuse was sufficient. Yes, even an old dog can learn new tricks!

There is something to be said about "mechanical" fuel pumps. Stop in any parts store and pick on up. I have been running the SAME mechanical fuel pump on the LGSM for 19 years!!! Knock on wood.

Points taken guys! I did not go with the mechanical because I did not want to bend tubing.

Update: after my friend came over, we found out the fuel pump was NOT on the relay with the Cooling Fan. I did go with a K&N Fuel Pump, Made in the USA! So far so good. Since the K&N fuel pump is an oscillating type, my electrical friend said there was no need to put it on a relay.

How many amps does this pump pull? Do you have a model # or link?

Should be on the box or in the instructions/spec sheets with EACH individual pump.
Holly put this out so maybe a call might serve you better than me.
