2014 Eastern Regional

Just out of curiosity, when was the last time an event of the NTBA been here on the Eastern seaboard? I remember back around 2003 or 2004 at the Summer Nationals in Worcester,Ma that I went to that had some kind of event that drew T's from as far away as Washington state. There was at least 30 or more cars and they had a special area they were gathered in. Was that a NTBA event??? It was advertised in the Nationals flier but I can't remember who by. Just wondering.

The closest that the NTBA has had an event close to the eastern seaboard I think was in Lenoir NC in 2009.....I have not heard of another one that far east but I have only been a member since 2004.......There were about 120 cars at the National event in 2009 as I remember.........I hope this helps.......

I was wrong on the date of that T gathering at the Worcester,Ma. Summer Nationals It was July 3~7, 2002. I try buying a souvenir T shirts from all the big events I go to and that gathering I remembered which one it was and the date was 2002. They had a special area for the T's blocked off just for all the cars called ( what else?) the "T Corral". I remember the couple that was from Washington state ( although I can't recall their names now) because their T had a jag rr that we crawled underneath to look at and he told me what to do if I wanted to put one in my car. ( which I now have thanks to that gentleman) And another neat item they had was a slide out locking top bed cover. But I don't know who was sponsoring the event at the Nationals because he said he received an invitation to the event. Oh well. All I know is we had fun and thats what counts, right?

It is our intent moving forward to have multiple events across the US every year. There have been events going on for quite some time by various members around the country but we had never set up to have " Annual NTBA Regional Events" as we are now. As you may have seen on this website, our Western Regional will be in Yakima Washington in August this year. Next year, the EASTERN Regional will be in Pigeon Forge TN, and the WESTERN Regional will be in San Diego. I hope to be be able to announce the 2015 Nats location in the next few months as well. Besides the various regional events there are quite a few events hosted by members across the country annually so be sure to watch the site as those continue to pop up!! I hope to meet you in Ocala next month.
