Hi there, Thanks for all your kind welcoming gestures, re us New Zealanders attending your nationals. Unfortunately I will not be bring my bucket over, it's a mission just to get us there! Danny's car is still in pieces with the rebuild and besides he's got no tyres....I stole them...lol. Will be great to just have the opportunity to see all your lovely cars and meet you all. At this point arriving on 17th until 25th at Carson City, then we are undecided as to where/what we are doing, planning on spur of the moment arrangements. Fly back about 6th to NZ so bit of free time. We will be looking at all suggestions from you guys as to what we should see while in your beautiful country. Looking forward to June! Cheers Julie

Hi Julie.... OMG>>> the western USA can keep you on the go for a month, or more, alone. And there is plenty more, Coast to Coast & Border to Border You will get to some of Nevada while at the Nationals. Crater Lake is close; the mighty Grand Canyon is always magnificent; Estes Park and the high Colorado Rockies has it's own claim to splendor; Yellowstone Park needs no promotion at all (come see where the next mega volcano will happen) ; Jackson Wy. with the Tetons as a backdrop is eye candy for everyone, with white water rafting, fishing, cable car to top of Rendezvous Mtn.
Then the great Plains of the Mid-West, Miller Brewing in Milwaukee, Wi., Table Rock Lake, Lake of the Ozarks, The Alamo, Budweiser in St. Louis, - - - - Holy Smokes, I haven't even made it to East Coast yet and I would guess I have just given you about 2 months of destinations
Problem is, there is so much to experience in OUR great land, I would say it's what YOU TWO would like to see and feel.............lyle

We only have 6 months left to the Nationals there are three shows in Carson City the same weekend the Room Block will be dropped MAY 15th you better Book your Rooms early the town will be full of Hot Rods.
