Re: Don Garlits at Iola
Well there you have it, another reason to attend the Green Bay Fun Run!!!
I just now got off the phone with the coordinator of the Iola event. Mary will be sending me wrist bands to BE WORN upon entering the fairgrounds and WHILE in attendance there. Also registration forms that you need to place on the windshields once the cars are parked in our designated area, which I'm told will be in the shade as we were in 2015. In addition, Mary will be sending me the Event guidebook, that y'all can look over Thursday evening to decide where you want to wander to.
Wear GOOD walking shoes!!!! This is my advice to you, as the event is quite huge!!! Iola Collector Car Show and Swap event is one of LARGEST premier shows in the upper Midwest. Also STAY hydrated! And I don't mean with alcoholic beverages! This takes place out on a HUGE field and there are NO trees, but plenty of places to duck inside for shade. Hopefully it does NOT rain on Thursday night, as the swap areas are covered with straw and below that will be soft ground, i.e. mud. BTDT!! Not that nasty, but the ground will be "soft."
Still working out final details for evenings and also Saturday. As mentioned on this website and on the FB page of NTBA, SYMCO IS OUT!!!
This is all for now and tme for me to get off here and out to shovel more dirt!!
We're looking forward to seeing y'all FOUR weeks!!!
