The Indy Regional event and host hotel will be held at the Clarion Waterfront Hotel and Conference Center on the west side of Indianapolis between the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indianapolis Raceway park on US136. The Hotel is very accommodating to Hot Rods as they host the annual Road Rocket Rumble event that books the entire property for a weekend in June.
As for accommodations, we have blocked the entire west wing of the hotel which is 42 rooms. This block is good until one month before the event. After August 24, the rooms are no longer guaranteed. The event room rate is a reasonable $79/nite + taxes and fees. King Room and (2) doubles rooms are available. All rooms have a microwave and fridge. Please reserve your room as soon as possible. Rooms can be canceled a couple days before the event if necessary. The hotel has an central indoor pool, hot tub, and large area with tables and chairs. Hot breakfast is included. There is also a lounge on the east end of the hotel.
The hotel has graciously given us the entire west end of the parking area for T parking and truck/trailer parking. The T parking area has some nice grassy areas along a lake. We can accommodate 30-40 cars as necessary in this area. Trailer parking is adjacent and can accommodate 30+ trucks/trailers. See the image below for the highlighted areas. The hotel has evening security and has promised additional night security emphasis in our parking areas.
Small pets (35lbs and under) are OK with a $25/stay fee and a deposit
