Bill - Thank you for the outstanding effort to make this site a happening place!!!!

I, too, want to see this website, as T-Bucket Central. I am very concerned about personal security issues for people that use FB. Unfortunately some people do not see, or do not want to see the risks of fb. Eventually, they will.

I like your approach to keeping it here, by driving up the activity. You have my commitment to up the message count whenever I can.

I wish our elected officials would drive the effort by placing all key messages here, and post to fb that there is an important new message on our site.

While I am wishing, I wish this site was smart phone compatible.

Guys, trust me on this: the tutorial posted by Lee Metcalf on the top section of the discussions page under announcements works! I downloaded it, printed it out, and followed it to the letter, and I can post pictures from almost anyplace to this website. And I am no computer whiz, believe me!!!

During the last Nationals I posted all and any pertinent info on both Face Book and the "official" NTBA site. figured someone would read one if not both. Regarding the security on FB...i'm not saying that it is perfect, but as a user, I CAN set my own security in choosing whom I want to see what ever...

NO site in the great wide world of cyber space is secure, not even this site. This being said, I'd prefer members and potental members use this site, but be that as it may...they are going to go to which ever site suits them.

Yes, I remember that you posted in both places! A Golden 'Atta-Boy' for you!! Several of the Officers do the dual post thing , as well.

My thought is on FB, only post a link to the NTBA, rather than posting actual news on FB. My sense is that it will drive more traffic on our website. However, as Dennis miller says, 'I could be wrong!'

The only other T-bucket site is under a constant threat of shutting down due to a lack of user funding. I would hate to see this site disappear, due to low traffic.

BTW - Laurie and I are really sorry that we missed the shindig in GB....back to Chattanooga!!!

Regarding the security issue, I agree with you. However, some people are posting personal information, such as kids birthdays, vacation plans, etc., which sets them up for trouble. Most people do not realize that some digital pictures posted to FB contain GPS coordinates of where the picture was taken, which results in unknowingly releasing personal information of where kids can be found, vacant homes, etc.
