Hey Mike - - Great to meet you and everyone else, too. I've not attended any kind of car gathering that has had so many friendly people. And the run today, another outstanding cruise. I see why everyone comes back, much clearer now. The folks that are the backbone of the Fred's Fun Run make this happen and it's sooooo smooth. Looking forward to tomorrow. Let's see you and John out in your T's tomorrow!......lyle

Re: Fred's Fun Run in Tucson AZ
O M G : Wednesday and Thursday were a mirror image of Monday and Tuesday. Utterly fantastic! Friday was shaping up to another day that was going down in the record books. Bright beautiful morning and warm as toast for an Idahoan, at any rate!
BUT - as the gang was meeting for a drivers meeting at the hotel, your's truly was put putin' by taking my sweetie to the local hospital. Seems as if during the night she had an awful bunch of abdominal pain attacks and come morning she was pretty worn out. A couple of Aleve were tried but never took the edge off. The ER at St. Mary's was the next stop for our cruise that day. Yepper, she was admitted late Friday, and Saturday afternoon, out came her gaul bladder! Our trip home has been re-scheduled a few days, and not sure yet if Sandy will be going back to Boise on a winged craft instead of our T-Bucket. With her blessing and insistence, I did run out to the show and shine Saturday. I have never seen so many T's in one spot before, what a sight! And there was a type of T for everyone's taste. I loved it! This group in Tucson has brought us into their family, and we are very fortunate to have such a wonderful "Gang" that they are, befriending us in such open honest way.
Sandy is recovering very well. Walking and drinking (water) all of the drugs and CO2 pains off and out of her body. Not an easy chore as I can see it as it happens.
We will be back to Tucson next year for sure, and yes, we will be driving the T down again - - Not Snow nor Rain or dread of night shall keep our T in the shop......
Thanks Tucson T's, you have a fan and two new family members for life......lyle & Sandy

Re: Fred's Fun Run in Tucson AZ
Thanks Mark And Angie. She is doing better daily now, but a fever set in early this morning and they will hold her another day to see if it clears. If all goes well, she will be on the big bird back to Boise Wednesday morning. And I get to head for the new snow in Idaho, single piloting my low winged craft. Wild week for us without a doubt. And Tucson was the greatest. Indianapolis - - Here We Come!

Well Lyle, for your first event, you made it memorable. You did get to meet some of the best for sure! I hope Sandy continues to heal and you both have safe travels home. My son had the same surgery just a week ago Weds and he is healing well, but sore. Glad to hear she is flying home.... That ride back could have been painful. Travel safe and just ponder the memories you have created
See you in Indy
