Posting pics using Photebucket question....

Post by Gary Shugart »

For those in the know... I've signed up for 'photobucket' and played around there somewhat, uploading some pics, etc. Now, if someone could, explain to this simple minded person, how do I post a picture from there to the Nats site, in other words, when you are on the Nats site and trying to post a picture how do I get it from the 'photobucket' site. I don't see an option / drop down, or other that says take it from the 'photebucket' site. There must be a link I have to set up, but not sure how to do that.... thx in advance for any help....

Use the bottom "IMG" code that appears on the PhotoBucket site when you place your cursor over the picture you want to copy for the forum (or any forum), left click and it will confirm that it has been copied. Come here, type whatever text you want, then hit "enter" on your keyboard to space to a new line....

and press "Ctrl" and at the same time "v"

Hey... thx Bob... works pretty good... just need to practice to get better.
This is example of one I just did. This shot was taken at the 'Goodguys' event in Scottsdale (2010), where I got the 'terrific T' award... thx again...

My pleasure Gary. Now that you got it down pat, and have your pictures on Photo Bucket, you can post your pictures on any full feature forum like this one. A very small payback for the polish you let me use to get my ride looking better.
