Ho-hum.....I rattled the cage and nobody's there. You may just have to go thru Texas on US380 and wave on your way to Ocalla. Too bad San Antonio wasn't one town to go thru. Happy trail!!!

Re: Howdy!
ahhhhhhh, San Antonio CAN be en-route!!! Have power steering, can point the rascal any direction we want to go. US380, has several places to turn South, dontcha love our travel freedoms

OH my, Guess who forgot how B I G Texas is
You are a LONG way south of US380
Perhaps we will be following a southern route from Ocala to NAzareth.... Would that work??

Re: Howdy!
Yep, Texas is B-I-G!! tall and wide.....
Better stick with your original plan or else you'll never get out of San Antonio. Too many places to see (the Alamo, downtown riverwalks/river barge, the mission, Wax museum, Hemisfair tower, bike trails) lots of wineries in the hill country, etc, etc. When you hit Nazareth, you are only 466.2 miles away to San Antonio.....Maybe on your way back from Ocala.....

AND, I forgot to mention - April in San Antonio is FIESTA month!! We have Battle of Flowers (daytime) and Fiesta Flambeau (nighttime) parades, Fiesta Arts in the famous Southwest School of Arts, Night in Old San Antonio, Fiesta Oyster Bake, Mardi Gras at Sunken Garden.....See, you'll never get out in time.....

Hi Guys,
I'm in North Texas and just trying to find time to work on my hot rod. I'm in the Denton area.
I travel a lot so not available often but would like to others in the area.
Anyone going to the Pate swap meet (Texas Motor Speedway) this weekend, 4/29-30/2017?

Re: Howdy!
I figured out the rear brakes are from a 55 to 57 Chevy. For the rest, I've been side tracked with distributor issues.
I had an Accel distributor. The ignition module failed. So, bright idea is to swap an HEI.
The HEI will fit but has a lot of side play. When I compared the distributors, the Accel has another boss about 1-1/2" below the top.
So, I'm back to looking for a distributor or fixing the Accel.
Hopefully going to Pate swap meet tomorrow to see what I can find.
