I thought there were 75 charter members, but am afflicted with CRS.

I joined in '99. Suit and tie guy who had always wanted a t bucket. Kids were about grown (about meaning they didn't want anything to do with their parents). Perfect timing. So I started in Massena NY, got plans from CCR, and took a night time welding course at the vo-tech school 45 miles away. We later moved to Bennington VT, where I finished the first t under the state's new street rod law. As a result, I now have a registration for a 1923 t pickup that will get used with the new hot rod. It will be a pickup too.

I would never have realized my dream without all the great friends I made on that initial BBS, many many of whom I have never met. Any question I had would get answered (sometimes confusing, but hey!), and in 2011 I was driving on the public highways, happy as a friggin' lark.
