radiator fluid reservoir leak

After a short trip about a cup of radiator fluid leaks out of my overflow reservoir.
Any ideas?

Does it 'leak' out, or simply come out thru the overflow tube? I found the same thing with my overflow tube; I finally figured out that the coolant liked a certain level in the top radiator tank, and if I filled it beyond this point, it would just expand and come out of the overflow tube.

You are right Bill, it comes out the tube/hose not 'leak" out.
I will patiently wait and see if that is the case.

I just did not add any coolant for a few trips, and then checked the radiator level (when cool). It was at the same level each time I checked, so I determined that it was "full" at that level. No more problems!

As long as the overflow tank has coolant when the engine is cold, then the radiator
will be full.
