"If you're a military veteran and didn't make it to the North Carolina Fun Run, then you missed an extra special treat. Mark and Laurie took us to the Living Military Museum in Mooresville to meet with some local veterans. This museum is dedicated to honoring America's veterans, active duty personnel and emergency services personnel.
They rolled out the red carpet for all the buckethead military veterans (individual recognition, applause, pictures, gifts, etc). Wifey said that I even shed a couple of tears. As a Marine Corps veteran, this place truly feels like a home away from home."

Two observations:

1- At NASCAR Tech, I am not sure who had more fun, the students or the bucketheads!

2- At Richard's Coffee Shop, the Veteran's "Welcome Home" ceremony was very emotional for some!

Uncle Larry gets cold easy these days...….he had long pants on
& still needed a blanket….
