Another feature you "might" want to consider is bright white lights at the top corners of the trailer and maybe "curb feelers" up there as well for errant motel overhangs!!! Don't ask me how I know this.

Looks like a really nice setup Lee.
I can find a open car trailer with dove tail pretty cheap, and was thinking of buying the retro fit kit for a soft top. A bunch of cobra owners have these, they are light and have good aerodynamics and they are light enough to pull with mid size trucks too. Still thinking though.

Steve, Bill Cook did that with his open trailer and it worked quite well. He bent conduit to make the shell and went to a shop and had the top made with zippers on the sides as well as across the back. It was pretty slick!! Then you have the best of both worlds, protection from the elements when needed and can show it off if not needed. OR you could do like Toolman, T-Odd, Harley and Linda, Al and Shirley and many others.. Just Drive it everywhere .. No I am not selling my trailer

By the way, State Farm bought this trailer back following a tornado we had up here August 2010. I paid $7400 for this Pace American GT in 2001 and the insurance company bought it back for $6900...all because the roof vent was broken and the roof was pushed in...but not pushed in so much that the interior was in jeopardy. Truly amazing and then you wonder why insurance rates go up.

I actually made out well as I was looking to sell the trailer anyway, and doing it this way I made more money than had I tried to see it myself.

Anybody interested I have a new electric trailer tongue jack for sale. The neat thing about this jack is that a seperate battery is not needed it plugs into the vehicle outlet. Jack has a light and is new.
