Posting here because it will never be seen in the Tech pages

Post by Lugnut »

Howdy!

I realize I'll be showing my age here ( no wise cracks please), a while back there "used" to be two write ups and discussions on fabricating a "folding" top for the buckets. The original write up with pics was of my doing, and the second was from "Big Dog" Lee...

Whatever happened to those articles? Do any of you OLD guys on here have either of those two write ups? I have a couple fellows seeking info on how to make their tops fold down. In my infinite wisdom I can recollect the how to's, but surely would help to put words to the "how to's".

Thank you in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this. NOTE: This is a request for a FOLDING canvas top.....PERIOD!

Add me to the list of people that would like to see the articles on folding tops.

Welp, I gave it a strong go, guess those “how to” instructions on making the tops fold went with the older members. I AM one of the oldest members, but even I did not keep the instructions, unless they are filed away in my archives of the “original” NTBAssociation.

Thanks for looking, it was greatly appreciated. Maybe just looking through photos of the old LGSM, I can make heads and tails of all the mechanisms that allowed top to fold.
