Diamond plate doesn't fit the rest of this T. The wood on there now is cheap wood with a veneer. It was someone's kitchen table in the 70's. I'll keep searching. Thanks.

To me, a dark wood like walnut would look nice with your T's overall décor. It can be a little pricey, however.

If you get it upholstered, it will look like everyone else's bucket, plus upholstery tends to tear and corners will get ratty looking...Stick with wood or do what Spanky suggested..to fiberglass and get it painted the same as the body. jmho
